In October 2018, a frightening storm hit the mountainous area of northeastern Italy.
Over 1 million cubic meters of trees have been uprooted in Val di Fiemme, most of them Spruce.
Fiemme Tremila, leader in the production of wooden floors, has entered into a pact with the sawmill of the Magnifica Comunità della Val di Fiemme, undertaking to recover this timber under the same purchase conditions in place before the storm.
