Van Duysen - Fantini
These are the first Fantini products designed by Vincent van Duysen, a well-known Belgian architect and designer. It is a timeless collection.
"A sort of passepartout - as the author states - with a little touch of memory, but not too extreme, still very contemporary and modern, with attention to ergonomics and endowed with a certain sensuality".
Vincent Van Duysen, born in 1962 in Lokeren, Belgium, is one of the leading architects on the European scene.
Functionality, durability and comfort are the main components of his work.
His stylistic feature is the use of pure and tactile materials which translates into clear design lines and a timeless language, not tied to fashions and trends. He has an approach that respects the context and tradition.
The physical experience of the space and the materials have a prominent place, in relation to the user's needs which are always at the center of the project.
His Antwerp studio has been dealing with residential architecture, retail, offices, hospitality and industrial design since 1990.
He has designed products for several Italian companies, including Molteni, Flos, B & B Italia and has recently been appointed Artistic Director of the Molteni Group.
