Straight Flush
- The Pidgeon Family
John Pidgeon's family history in the bathroom industry stretches back over five generations to his great-great-grandfather Edward Humpherson who started a business in Chelsea in 1876.
His son Frederick designed, among others, the 'The Improved Syphon Cistern' which won the Bronze Medal at the International Inventions Exhibition in 1885 and 'The Original Pedestal Washdown Closet' (WC)named 'The Beaufort'.
Alfred Humpherson, John Pidgeon's great-grandfather, inherited the family firm from his brother Frederick, and later his daughter Edith Pidgeon became its owner. It's a straight flush in the history of british bathroom industry. http://www.ajp-bathrooms.co.uk/
