What is your interpretation of Transitional Style? Share your ideas in social media using #createanewbalance! How do you design an interior worthy of the designation “transitional”?
Using which materials, colours and shapes? And how can the balancing act between traditional and contemporary resonances be combined with new, individual ideas?
Between traditional elegance and contemporary cool: With this as their premise, we invited the architects Rafael de Cárdenas (New York) and Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu from Neri&Hu (Shanghai), to interpret the transitional style in their own way.
With mood boards, sketches, material collages and bathroom architecture designs, Cárdenas and Neri&Hu each approached the theme independently.
Their ideas and inspirations then formed the basis for the bathroom architectures that were developed by Mike Meiré. The results can be seen in Dornbracht's social media channels or if you search for #createanewabalance.
